woke up early and went for consider christ prayer meeting today, and it was goooooood(= on my way to school on 151 i was absorbed in my anat notes, and at a stop there was someone who came up and stood in front of me. i din look up and thought tt the person might want to sit on the empty seat beside me, so i moved to make space. and then he said "wah why studying." HAHA omg and i looked up i was shocked it was darryl! gawsh funny and thruout the bus ride he seemed very amused with the new bus, and even test me what are the functions of neutrophils and eosinophils LOL.
ok anw many many pple turned up for the meeting, like 40+!was good time of praying together for the event, and also getting to know more cfers:):) got to talk to people i've never met before in cf, and pple whom i see arnd but haven spoke to:D actually im kinda excited for the event; i think it will be a good time of outreach and making God's presence known to the NUS population, as well as a time where vcf can bond n unite as a body of Christ on campus:)
and im really amazed by the hearts that are willing to be burdened for God. students from the diff facs like arts, sci, sde offer their service and help to this event! and while my group was brainstorming for publicity ideas, william from sde came and he told us that sde is able to help out, and guess what!they are from school of DESIGN so of course it will be best that they design the posters and stuff! great stuff i really saw the "massiveness" of this students' ministry on campus today(=
what really touches me most is that there are so many children of God's kingdom who are willing to serve God on campus. the fact that vcf is student-initiated and self-funded indeed amazes me. really encourages me and spurs me on to want to do greater things for God, and make my life here on campus not merely about studying and going for lectures and tutorials, but really build on the friendships with my brothers and sisters in Christ in cf, really being one body serving God. there's so much things to be done here, and there i was looking around me and thinking about where i can serve God more. i really don't want to live a life as someone who calls herself a christian yet does not live her life reflecting that of one. i want to be His salt and light! wow this feeling is really great! i think i should try checking out sunset prayers=D
this reminds me, i need to start reading the bible more often!!
