wah i need to share this man! it may seem small and insignificant, but it has once again proven to me so clearly the goodness of God!!
ytd i wanted to purchase the tertiary student ez-link concession pass, which costs $52+. coz thinking abt it, today i have to go see dr y30h, tmr i have to see mr dermatologist, and sch starts next week, so it would make sense to get my concession. but i just procrastinated and decided not to get the concession yet, and just wait till sch officially starts before i get it...so..i din get la.
then this morning i opoened my mail and to my pleasant surprise, there was an email which read:
Dear xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxxx,
We have received a limited number of rejection rooms for AY2007/2008 and we are re-allocating available rooms to those unsuccessful applicants who have chosen PGP as their first choice.
We are pleased to inform you that you have been allocated an accommodation on-campus for AY 2007/2008 at Prince George’s Park Residence. You have been allocated a Type B Room and your room details are as follow:
WAHHH AMAZING RIGHT?!?!? I totally din care about hostel living anymore after my hopes were dashed when i was rejected by pgp the first time, and then all of a sudden this email came!wah pgp leh type b summore im super happy man thank you God:):):)
so luckily i din buy the concession right cuz i'd be staying in hostel so wun be travelling by bus much.
THEN again another thing happened. i went to see dr y30h today and cuz he's a specialist and his patients are rich and famous (not me, ask me an i'd give u an example)me n mummy expected to pay alot of $$. but no choice cuz he IS a good doc and mum is super duper ultra worried about my thyroid.
so doc y30h saw me and he was very super nice and grandfatherly and softspoken:) and when i told him i did a fine needle aspiration/biopsy before but the doc din rec any follow up treatment he was truly indeed really appalled and i wanted to laugh seeing the expression on his face!!teehee so he decided to ref me to dr tan who specializes in thyroid gland problems. looking at dr y30h's face makes me think that the problem is not small like not good like tt:/
yup so while we were waiting for the receptionist to make the appt and stuff i was thinking about the huge amt of $$ that will be spent..and summore tmr i gotta see my derma it'll prob cost another bomb and then there's my hostel deposit.and i went to look at the consultation charges it was $150-$200.. so when jessie told us that we could leave mum asked "erm, what about the payment?" jessie said "oh today no charges."

WOW can u believe it me n mum were astonished like ASTONISHED like A-S-T-O-N-I-S-H-E-D u noe first time i see specialist no need to pay. wah i was truly shocked u noe so we were like kinda confused and just like "oh..okay..:) " and then all the formalities ie goodbye thank you see you have a nice day.
and in the cab me n mum were deliberating on the issue of why dr y30h din charge us. suggestions that surfaced were:
1)he is truly humble and a very good doc. explanation too cheem to blog
2)he's too rich so he dunneed this small amt of $lousy argument
3)he knows im only 19 and so he din wanna charge me that's really sweet
4)my problem is so bad that im gonna die soon so din wanna take my $mum tsk me for saying this
5)he noes that i'll be spending SUPER ALOT at NUH to see prof tan he decides that he will not charge me maybe
6)he takes commission or whatever they call it from prof tancuz maybe like referall so got commission.possible.
yeah so anyway we were still quite surprised:)
doc y30h says that i would either have to take medication or go for surgery. prof tan will advise me on that, and in the event that i need surgery, prof tan would be the best person to do it too.

ok so that was my wonderful day for me, good news and bad news. but im realli so happy that God showed me His goodness and mercy twice again, and i wanna share this happiness with all of you:D
