one boss, many workers
back from lpc and i must say it was a truly amazing experience. important lessons learnt...
vision: to make and build disciples of jesus christ, who will be effective salt and light of the world, on campus and in society
direction: stand up, speak out for christ
1. this closed- deterministic world removes God, and excludes the possibility of impossibilities. (actually come to think of it there is nothing that is impossible)
2. prayer is important in sustaining a ministry
3. i do not want to be a FOG
4. people need me, a christian, to see christ
5. Romans 1:16 " for i am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes"
6. relating the unchanging gospel to a changing generation
7. Jesus identified with the people without losing his identity
8. christian conversion and regeneration reamin miracles of God's grace
9. being crazy for christ means talking about him and sharing about him enthusiastically, just like when we are crazy about our fav soccer club or about shopping sales etc!
10. relevance of beatitudes and our vision
11. Proverbs 29:18 "where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law"
and it was fabulous knowing so many new people! i found such great joy when i talked to them i found many science people who are in hall and whom i do not often see and it was great getting to know them! here's a list of the new friends i talked to..
lester-chair, who is really amazingly cute and funny. mistakenly identified as linus and you should have seen his face when andrew called him that. was talking to him after lpc and he said he was quite surprised because linus wasn't even in this camp:D

liz-prayed with her on the last day! and i found out at last that her family's from uk
huiping-hon treasurer
tecktee- who says i am crazy, even more so with zoey (it's not me!!)
hannah- who knows korh too!
paul- who seems quite shy but was hilarious on wed
patrick- whom i got to know from wed he is really nice to talk to! phy major halls chair
grace koh- our lovely unintimidating fac coord
phoebe- my roomie(:(:
joanna, yeeli, julio, hulin, kelvin, joseph, yen, laipeng, gillian
yup so that makes TWENTY new pple i've met and i remember and can put a face to the names to the face!!
