and the evening was spent with my very irritating smoley who HASN'T UPLOADED OR SENT ME THE PICS I TOOK HELLO PLS DO(: and oh my we were indeed very wishy washy about where to go to eat because i dunnoe why. so we decided to go j8 at first, then decided to go to his hse to get his stayover@nick clothes. and oh did we spend a loooong time at his hse haha smoley decided to pack his wardrobe (it was 8pm mind you) and was throwing out clothes and telling his helper to "fold the ugly clothes and hang the nice clothes. the expensive clothes keep, the cheap clothes can throw or if you want to wear can take. you see this kind *points to some random clothes* is expensive..this kind *points to some other random clothes* is cheap." HELLO LIKE OMG im so sure she knows what u were talking about la i just sat there and look at smoley and look at the helper and she looked at me and we juat laughed and i shouted at smoley "huhhh?!?!?". laugh OUT loud. but all's not lost, i got a free shirt to sleep in which come to think of it smoley, is quite weird because of the print haha i was looking at it and thinking why did i take it. but haha it's comfy im wearing it no!hiak(:

ok this is getting too long. at the end we went to at at.....JUNCTION 8 FOOD COURT. haha eh i bet im the only girl who eats at food courts and hawker centre with you right right RIGHT RIGHT where is my present.
thursday
cleaned the house with mum and pops. dinner was sakae with bengbeng and gary, who totally bullied me oh my esp on the way home. beng refused to eat wasabi while gary and i were breathing deeply and squashing faces when the wasabi was ~woooo up the nose~~ haha if u eat wasabi u will get what i mean.
went for a talk by LT Jeyachandran,e xecutive Director of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries Asia Pacific, singapore. was a very thought provoking sharing by him on the theology of(behind) science. he talked about the environment to which science can be born, ie the origins of science, and the laws of the universe being attributed to physics laws. basically he shared with us why there is a need for scientists to believe that the bible IS in itself the basis of science, and all in all how we must explain science using the bible and not the bible using science.
anyhows here are some things to think about:
biblical statements providing support for scientific enterprise
1. God guarantees the reality of the physical world (not imaginary, etc)- Gen 1:$
2. He makes us in his image-rational beings
3. the world is capable of being ruled by us
4. every phenomenon has a cause. and God is the uncaused cause. he is the beginning cause, the first cause, which led to all effects.
5. promise to noah affirms uniformity of nature's behaviour.
one thing that struck me is that how can we believe in the eternity of matter (newton's laws, specifically 2nd law), yet not believe in the eternity of God-ie nth created God since He is the first cause.
i guess as scientists who are christians we should be intellectually honest with ourselves, going to where evidence leads us. oh yups had a small discussion on evidential apologetics (haha brave gary raised this qn), and i agree to a large extent to what LT said. made me think about my response when my parents throw me qns rgd evidences of God....
friday
the day is young, and im hungry. goodbye im going to cook lunch.
i don't know if im putting too much of my heart in all these, and im afraid that one day i'd be hurt to death.
Lord when can i ever know the truth?
