striving to His working

was thinking alot about service and my attitude of service to God ytd. somehow i got lost somewhere between some stuff, and not knowing if like i am "supposed" to serve, you know..and whether the underlying motive is father-first or me-first or just i-do-because-i-can mindset. then came along an angel who told me to do QT and from God came this:

to this end i labour, struggling with all His energy which so powerfully works in me-colossians 1:29

..He wants us to climb out of the stands, get out on the field, and join the team. If you're wondering what good you can do on the field, wonder no more....you have gifts you can contribute.God has given each of us spiritual gifts that can help advance His kingdom.Whether it is teaching, encouraging, serving, showing hospitality, or extending mercy, each ability can yield great dividends. Let's follow the example of Paul, who tirelessly served on God's field for the joy of being used by Him.

i think it's really human nature to be selfish, and it's so so very hard to not be.

but i pray that You give me strength.

i just came back from driving around my hse and being scared at the multi-storey carpark cuz there was another car behind me so letting daddy take over

i like rev lee's sermons cause i will really listen to him because he is just so cute!sermon todae was about offering, about how the poor widow gave to God what her life depended on, but how the rich gave to God what was extra; a sum of money that would not affect their lives in any way. and i think of how and what i offer to God, in terms of my service towards Him and monetary offerings as well, and i realise that many a times i too act like the rich, giving to God an amount which is not significant enough for me to hold back and "feel the pinch". it's really when we feel the pinch then is it that we are offering..or is it?

anw im quite sad that he's leaving because for the three and a half years i've been here, he's been here 3 years. and his sermons always let me bring home sth new:'(

capt ball today was quite fun the weather was fantabulous:):) thank God for the fun and fellowship, and for protection!

i think everyone ought to think before they say some things because some things that come out of our mouth are really hurting and they don't lift anyone up higher and they don't add value to discussion.

and they're not Godly, which is a bad testimony.

so henceforth i shall try to always filter my words of hurtful stuff before i let them flow from my mouth, the very same mouth that sings praises to God, the very same mouth that i eat from, the very same mouth i kiss my dog with, the very same mouth i kiss @$h3( with.

Glory be to God:)
