the fever came and went, but the nose-thing is here to stay:(
im becoming obsessed with tasha's defecation consistency. when it's good, im glad that her dsys is working. when it's not, i worry.
i guess that's what happens when one gets old.
i think it's horrifying when people get trampled to death because of mad over-kiasu over-enthu shoppers.
im looking forward to sci gathering tmr! we're going to have dinner and chill and minds:D
i really still can't decide what mods to do next sem? french 3 costs a bomb. like seriously, ar** pple have thousands of prog points to throw in, while i onli haf a few hundred:\
im working towards a 4-day week!
i was thinking of sth, and decided that my answer at the moment is no.
spent the say with krm, trying to find darwin's God. it's a pretty intellectual book, and i find myself often pausing, going back, re-reading the argument, and structuring thought in my mind. the book "finding darwin's God" is basically a scientist's quest to search for common ground between God and evolution.
something which i think is totally possible.
i think many people think that evolution=man came from chimps. but that is so micro a view! well anw not delving into the controversy there, i like this particular passage i read today:
"so, which was it? did the new species come into existence in a puff of smoke, or were they the genetically distinct offspring of another species? and, more important, why have they stopped? the appearance of new species out of thin air doesn't seem to happen anymore, even if it happened on a recurring basis in the geologic past. these newly designed organisms continues to appear on a regular basis right up to the present day. then, for some reason, just as we became able to observe it, this remarkable magic stopped. makes you wonder why, doesn't it?"
thought-provoking!am at the chapter "God the magician". there's still God the Mechanic, the gods of disbelief, beyond materialism, the road back home, finding darwin's God.
egggggcited!!(:
byebye going to watch nyonya kueh!
